This is DerbyMADE will be a brand-new welcoming flexible space in the heart of Derby, designed for everyone.

It will be a flexible community, commercial, leisure and cultural building:

  • A public space for meeting studying or working with its own coffee shop, bar and café.
  • A small music venue – a capacity of up to 400 people for a music event.
  • Cultural / exhibition space – it will have a flexible double height space that can be used for spoken word, gallery display, art exhibitions, film, events, product launches, small conferences and exhibitions.
  • Dedicated co-working – students, businesses, and community groups to have meetings, hold events and base themselves in the city centre.
  • An additional library focussed on families, children and young people.
  • A rooftop bar and several food and beverage outlets.
  • Three café bar restaurants on the ground floor – a mix of national names and opportunities for local businesses.
