The building would be a safe place in the city for students, young people and older generations alike, especially in the evenings. It would be place for quiet study or learning together, creating a “home from home” space. A proposed library facility would also bring access to leisure and learning, to complement the wider Derby MADE offer.
Derby MADE is also about doing business and creating modern work spaces – new, social office spaces, free co-working spaces in public forums, and meeting and presentation spaces.
